Happy 2011!

Wow, it has been a long time since, I have updated this blog. Last year flew by so quickly. I turned 29 on Jan 18th and celebrated with family and friends.

My Lil man is growing up so fast. He is 2.5 and really testing us with these terrible two's! His love for tractors

and fire trucks has grown and he has created his own fire station in our living room. Oh my I believe I may have two firemen in the family.

I had just cleaned his room and put sheets on the bed.. He thought it would be great to strip the bed and have a new fire station there. Lol Gotta love him!

2011 is going to bring great happiness to our family. My brother S and his wife E are expecting their first child. The Lil peanut is expected to arrive in March of 2011. My mom, Mel and I have been busy planning E's baby shower. She chose to have the party on her 25Th Birthday. How exciting!

I wish they lived closer but we can manage an hour and a half drive to see them. T loves the baby already. He rubs E's belly and gives it kisses. One day last month T and I were watching a movie with a Lil baby and I asked "T would you like to have a little brother or sister" and he said " no mommy, I want a tractor" Priceless.

February is also a special month for my husband. E turns the BIG 3-0! Can't wait to celebrate with him and his friends and family. I have a surprise for him as well. Cant wait to see the expression on his face!

New Room!!

Troy has now moved into his big boy bed!! He went from a Safari room to a Fire Truck room. Here are two pictures of him sleeping in his new bed. I will upload more pictures when the room is complete.

Ugh! My poor baby!!

Troy is growing up way to fast and is in to everything! He has learned new words but is still trying to "talk through his Pacifier". Even when he does not have it!! 2010 has been a busy and eventful year for us so far. We have had two visits to the ER so far. First visit was for 2nd and 3rd degree burns to his right hand. Troy grabbed the clothing iron:( We see the plastic surgeon on a weekly basis and things are healing well.

2nd visit was for a corneal abrasion. He scratched his eye somehow. We are thinking either with his bandage, when he rubbed his eye, or from the hair brush that he loves to play with!

Counting down the days....

We are counting down the days until Christmas.... I am so excited to see how Troy acts this year. We just have to get Troy healthy for the big day. We were up all night with him last night. He has been running a temp of any where between 100-102 with no other symptoms. He is visiting Dr. S today to see what's going on. Hopefully not another ear infection. Peanut has had a rough year. Hopefully 2010 will be a better year for all of us.

Friday was the big day. Troy was back to normal about 3 hours after the surgery. He is a trooper. He did such a wonderful job. However, mommy cried her eyes out when they put him to sleep! Very emotional day! He had an ear infection in his left ear. Craziness! So glad we decided to take care of this now rather than later. I am hoping for the best. Thanks for all the well wishes!!
